Most briefing packs are organised by where the information came from: a NOTAM section, a weather section, an airspace section. That is filing, not briefing — it leaves the crew to work out which items actually interact.
Flight Brief Suite organises by phase of flight and ranks by severity. Departure, enroute, arrival and alternates. A closed taxiway and a crosswind forecast that together make an airport marginal appear next to each other, because that is when they matter.
The structure follows Threat and Error Management doctrine, drawn from post-accident briefing practice rather than from what happens to be easy to lay out.

What's inside every brief
Each section answers one operational question. Sections appear only when the flight actually has that data — a brief does not pad itself with empty headings.
Flight risk map
The route on a map with the Flight Information Regions it crosses shaded by risk. The default view of a brief, because the first question is always where this flight is going and what it passes through.
Operational snapshot
The flight's key risks and status in one view — what changed, what is unresolved, what needs a decision before departure.
Airspace and FIR risk
Risk assessment for each region along the route, deduplicated by country and graded from caution through to no-fly.
Airport brief
Departure, destination and alternates — METAR and TAF with trend charts, airport risk category, runway and infrastructure data, and the airport's own NOTAM picture.
NOTAMs, decoded
Full listings per airport and per crossed FIR. Q-codes are decoded rather than reprinted, so a crew reads what a NOTAM means instead of parsing it.
Pilot reports
First-hand operational reports from crews who have recently flown into an airport — the things that never make it into a NOTAM.
Airport suitability
Checked against the aircraft that is actually flying
Most briefing tools tell you what an airport publishes. This one answers whether your aircraft fits it. Limits come from the aircraft type and are overridden per tail number where your own fleet data differs.
Pavement bearing
ACN/PCN and the ICAO ACR/PCR method, checked across runways, taxiways and aprons — not just the runway, because an aircraft that can land somewhere still has to taxi and park there.
Runway width and slope
Against the aircraft's own AFM limits and the ICAO Annex 14 minimum width for its reference code.
Rescue and firefighting
The ICAO RFFS category the aircraft requires against what the airport publishes.
Elevation and tailwind
Airport elevation and tailwind limits, taken from the aircraft type and overridden per tail where your fleet data differs.
A blank is never a green light
Where a check cannot be completed — no pavement data published for an airport, no AFM limit on file for an aircraft, a source that did not answer — the brief says so explicitly and marks it as unchecked.
It is never quietly omitted, and it never renders as a pass. That distinction is deliberate: an operator has to be able to tell the difference between this was checked and it is fine and this could not be checked, and most tools lose it.
Flight Brief Suite supports the decision. It does not make it, and it does not replace the crew's or the dispatcher's own assessment.

Dispatch and crew need the same information laid out differently. Both views render the same threat list from the same brief, so they cannot drift apart.
